A new opportunity for learning in Ireland is announced by Deirdre O’Sullivan. Her salon Bespoke Destination is a new educational hub for hairdressers, putting its Cork location on the map. Beautiful, literally! Bespoke Destination, based in Mitchelstown, Cork, offers anideal location for learning and makes hairdressing education more accessible to the area.
Already, international haircutting educator Ben Brown hosted an exclusive, hands-on masterclass for ten experienced hairdressers to kick off Bespoke Destination’s educational offerings. Further education includes Not Another Salon and we hear Bespoke Education is also finalising an oncology and aesthetics wig clinic. Keep posted!
Ben Brown says: “Bespoke Hair is in such a beautiful setting overlooking the mountains. The salon’s ethos is all about well-being, which shines through from the moment you step inside the door. It was a wonderful, interactive day. I so much enjoyed working with all the participants. In my view, small, independent salons like Bespoke Hair deliver equivalent and, in some cases, higher standards of cutting expertise than many of the top name UK salons.”

Bespoke Destination is also a current finalist for The Irish Hair and Beauty Awards Colour Technician of the Year category… the perfect place for inspiration! Deirdre has a strong relationship with Image Skillnet and the Irish Hairdressing Federation and a history of working with reputable brands, including Kevin.Murphy, Redken, L’Oreal and Kerastase. Importantly, Deirdre has worked with several brands in education and regularly attends educational courses with her salon to ensure she is constantly learning. When it comes to education, she certainly knows what she’s doing. Deirdre also says female empowerment is vital to Bespoke Destination and is passionate about supporting female industry leaders who provide education. Bespoke Education gets better and better.

As hairdressers, we must share our best practices, build a community and learn from each other. Ultimately, we all gain, especially our clients. It was important to me to launch Bespoke Destination and host incredible education for hairdressing professionals, allowing them to grow and enhance their skills. Our goal is to ensure that Ireland continues to be a leader in creative hair, beauty and wellness and that Bespoke Destination is the place to visit for education in the south of Ireland, County Cork and Mitchelstown.
