Yes, the Hair & Beauty Charity is inviting hairdressers, salon teams and beauty therapists across the UK to dust off their aprons and get baking in support of colleagues, friends and industry professionals who need our help. You’re going to love this one!
A bake sale to support
The Hair & Beauty Charity’s Bake Sale for 2026 invites everyone from apprentices to salon owners to host their own fundraising bake sale. All proceeds will go directly to support members of the hair and beauty community facing hardship, ill health or crisis.
Every crumb counts
President of the charity is Jayne Lewis-Orr who tells us: “Taking part couldn’t be simpler. Whether you’re a star baker who enjoys getting creative in the kitchen, or looking for a fundraising event for the salon, the Charity would love everyone to get involved. Once the oven gloves are off, make sure you photograph your creations and share them on social media, tagging us to be featured in a dedicated online gallery. Showstoppers, near-misses and spectacular Bake-Fails are all equally welcome — the Charity wants to see it all!”
Salons that fundraise will also be able to climb a fundraising leaderboard, with special recognition given to those who raise the most. The more you raise, the more recognition you’ll get – with a special prize for those who raise the most!

Register your event and you will receive a free Bake Sale kit. This includes edible cupcake toppers, napkins and heart cappuccino stencil to get you going.
Jayne is enthusiastic: “Our industry is built on generosity, skill and community and this campaign reflects all of that. We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with, whether that’s a perfect Victoria sponge or a brilliant wonky attempt. Every single effort makes a real difference to the lives of people in our community who need support.”
