An Evening with the Fellowship

Wondering what to do this Sunday evening? How about spending An Evening with the Fellowship? After a year of dynamic, interactive live content, the virtual event will bring together elements of previous broadcasts, with some festive sparkle and fun. Yes, please! An Evening with the Fellowship will take place from 6pm on Sunday 13th December at fellowshiphair.com and live on Facebook @fellowshiphair.

New era

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s annual Luncheon and Awards marks the end of the year for many in the industry – and although this year it will naturally be looking a little different, it still promises to be a feel-good celebration of all that’s great about hairdressing and the overwhelming resourcefulness and creativity that has been so evident over the last 12 months.

Fellowship Chancellor, Ashleigh Hodges, says: ”This year has been all about coming together as a community online, so what better way to round off our year than getting together digitally one last time for a final celebration – and to say farewell to 2020! We really want to acknowledge the creativity and hard work from our members during such an unprecedented year. We have some new awards joining our existing categories. The Lockdown Look and exciting new President’s Award will sit alongside our long-established classics, including the esteemed Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year.”

Celebrating talent

An Evening with the Fellowship will take place at 6pm on Sunday 13th December. Hosted by Fellowship President Ken Picton and featuring a star-studded galaxy of special industry guests, the celebration will be a roundup of 2020: the good, the bad and the unexpected! The livestream will also celebrate the talent within the organisation with the presentation of the Fellowship’s Awards, which include: the Salon Awards, the Image Awards, the President’s Award and awards of recognition for members, including the coveted Hairdresser of the Year Award.

Ken says: “It’s been a challenging year to say the least, but it’s been amazing to see everyone come together as a united industry. At the Fellowship, we believe we have created an amazing family and community who have stood together to inspire, motivate and support one another. Although we might not be able to get together in person to celebrate the end of this year and the optimism of 2021, we can’t wait to reunite everyone online for drinks, fun and festivity. We’ll be celebrating our members with our Awards, and reflecting on a year that has been undoubtedly different, but which has proven the strength, optimism and community spirit that makes hairdressing such a wonderful industry to be involved in.”
