Adele Clarke’s winter haircare

Hair mask Osmo

Adele Clarke, Osmo ambassador and owner of Spectrum Hair Company, shares her hair mask tips for keeping your client’s hair healthy through winter. During the colder months your client’s hair can become dry and damaged. Adele recommends using hair masks to fight off the drying effects of the cold, read on to find out why.

Adele Clarke’s recommendations

During the cold winter months, hair needs more TLC, so share the benefits of a hair mask with your clients. Explain that a hair mask conditioner is akin to their daily moisturiser, as they may not know this. A hair mask lightly hydrates, smooths cuticles and prevents tangles and breakage.

Use hair masks to improve your client’s hair’s texture, shine, and manageability, says Adele. Masks are an essential part of any haircare routine. You can use masks on all hair types, from fine and thin to thick and coarse, and tailor them to meet each client’s specific needs.

Know your stuff

Consider your client’s hair type before recommending a product, as there are many options on the market. Fine hair types are best suited to masks with a lightweight formula. Adele recommends the Osmo Blinding Shine Illuminating Mask. For clients with curly hair, recommend a mask that will hydrate and redefine the texture of their hair, such as the Osmo X Posed Treatment Mask. Clients with dry hair will need a moisturising product, especially in colder seasons.

Adele says to have a hair consultation to help fulfil your client’s needs, ensuring your hair mask sale is correct. By recommending the right product and educating your client on how and when to use their hair mask (Adele says every third wash), the condition of their hair will improve. This goes a long way toward client satisfaction and, ultimately, retention. You want your clients to be as happy as they want great hair. Help them out this winter for the perfect mask to suit their hair needs.
