This year, for the seventh annual Academy Salons awards a guest compere took to the mic. Bruno Marc is creative director and one of the renowned family at Marc Antoni salons in Oxfordshire. He joined the Academy group’s glitzy party at The Long Bar of the Harbour Hotel, Guildford, a glamorous venue well-suited to a night of celebration. We hear it was a fabulous atmosphere with ten awards given out, plus the Special Recognition accolade. Support came from Academy’s VIP guests representing L’Oréal Professional Products Division, Salon IQ, Savvy Salon, Hair Uncut, and Alan D Training.
Salv Mulé, the Academy managing director, congratulated all the winners on their hard work and dedication. “It’s evenings like this that make me so incredibly proud of my team and even more passionate about this fantastically creative service industry that we belong to. Academy salons has been both a joy and a journey for almost 25 years now and long may this continue.”
