Following the news that Supercuts and parent company, Regis, has gone into administration, HOB Salons is urging stylists, colourists, barbers, salon managers and apprentices to contact them if they are now looking for work.
The news that 220 Supercuts stores is to close raising doubts over the future of some 1200 employees has shocked the industry, but HOB Salons director, Clive Collins, has thrown the employees a lifeline by asking them to contact him.
HOB Salons, which has more than 25 high-street destinations throughout the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Greater London areas, is currently recruiting – and director Clive Collins says he would like to hear from any of the employees who are uncertain about their job.
“It’s reported a buyer is being sought, but we would urge any hairdresser or assistant worried about their job to contact us and hopefully we can help. It’s at times like this that the industry needs to come together and support each other and if we can help anyone then we will. I ask they personally contact me on clive@hobsalons.com and hopefully we can help as many people as we can.”
