Happy 40 years to Headmasters! Pretty impressive, ay? The salon chain has an incredible 55 salons across London and the South East where they deliver beautiful, fashionable and confidence-boosting hair. So how are the gang celebrating this incredible milestone?
It’s time to put the staff centre stage. A strong hairdressing team of 800 were invited to battle it out – X-factor style – to have their portrait featured in the annual brand campaign. With only twelve spots available, the competition was on.
“It was incredibly difficult to narrow it down from thirty.” Says Andrew Barton, Creative Director, “We wanted to have different stories and careers, and levels from different salons to really be our team heroes for the year.”
The lucky twelve
- Sadia, Chiswick
- Jolanta, Head Office
- Ferlin, Earlsfield
- Gemma, Brighton
- Edd, Great Portland Street
- Leona, Streatham Hill
- Michael, Windsor/Cobham/Farnham
- Ying, Great PortlandStreet
- Letitia, Bromley High Street
- Bev, Wimbledon Village
- Jade, Wokingham
- Jonny, Bromley Market Square
The team of twelve attended a two-day photoshoot with leading beauty and fashion photographer Jack Eames who created a beautiful collection of portraits for the new campaign.
The #WeHeadmasters campaign has launched ahead of Headmasters official birthday in May. Check out their Instagram @headmasters for the final portraits.
The whole team will be celebrating at The Prince in Fulham for a proper birthday bash. “We can’t wait to celebrate our 40th year with the team” says Chairman John Sanders. John and his wife Christine co-founded the salon group on 1982 when they opened the flagship salon in Wimbledon Village.
What an incredible 40 years of Headmasters, we’ll certainly raise a glass to that.
