Tried, trusted but not as widely-known as it should be, the 3•6•5 subscription-based salon business coaching system is worth your attention. We sat in on a workshop this week (at the Symposium event in London hosted by Salon Success) and loved the straight-talking approach to tackling team management and setting targets. 3*6*5 director (and hairdresser) Ken West credits his own success to having joined himself back in the early 90s., and certainly gets our vote for his friendly yet authoritative teaching. These days when you Google ‘hairdressing training’ it seems like everyone claims to be a good coach and industry expert. Hmmm… be selective. For strong and healthy business growth you need someone with inside experience.
At Symposium, Ken’s session was aimed at making the 3•6•5 membership ‘2020’ ready by sharing some great insights inside and outside our industry. He set the membership a challenge to commit to working towards paying living wage, to attract more people into the industry and set a new standard for hairdressing. Bravo.
There are many aspects to the education you can access by joining 3•6•5 Education… and it’s never-ending. The way best education is… continuous.
Other speakers included:

• Managing director of Salon Success, Simon Tickler
