Janene Hawkins-Bush named Regional Ambassador for Suffolk

Congratulations to Janene Hawkins-Bush who has been named Regional Ambassador for Suffolk by the Fellowship for British Hairdressing.

As the owner of Suffolk Hair salon group, which has four salons, Janene is passionate about creating futures for others. In her new role as ambassador she is looking forward to supporting the next generation of stylists and salon owners to realise their dreams and aspirations.

Janene Hawkins-Bush
Education at its best

Janene says: “Education and inspiration are the future of this industry, and one of my missions is to provide those opportunities for up-and-coming hairdressers. There are so many facets to this industry and it’s essential that exposure is available to spark creativity, passion, and inspire careers.

“Being part of the Fellowship is an extension of my goal, surrounded by like-minded individuals who all want to push this industry in the right direction.”

Supporting students

As part of her ambassadorship, Janene has already supported The Hair and Beauty Academy at West Suffolk College, where she visited hairdressing students for a day of creativity, inspiration and teamwork.

Janene will be back at West Suffolk College to support the Fellowship Connects Expo, an insightful evening with inspiring demonstrations, hosted by Fellowship Head of Education and Wahl Global Ambassador, Simon Shaw. The Expo is open to local salon owners, stylists and apprentices. Find out more information HERE
