For over 30 years Karoliina Saunders has been a renowned educator, salon owner and not to mention award-winning stylist recently taking home the award for Editorial Stylist of the Year at the Live Fashion Hair Awards. From behind the chair to management and then becoming a salon owner, her career has placed her on both sides of the camera working with some of the biggest names in hair and fashion such as Guido, Eugene Souleiman, Gary Gill and Anthony Turner and now, she’s passing on everything she knows to help the next generation of stylists excel in their career.
Taking it back to basics with Salon to Session covering the key fundamentals to make sure that you are fully equipped and confident to work in a backstage environment whether that be backstage at Fashion Week or on an editorial shoot.

The two-day in person course offers a face-to-face hands on experience to discover the key fundamentals needed to work in backstage styling and editorial work covering everything from your career path to building your own portfolio and finding your own aesthetic, whilst giving you the key skills you need to survive backstage.

New for 2024 is Salon to Session online, delivered in four easy to digest modules which can be done at your own pace and in your own time from the comfort of your own home or in the salon. Module 1: Setting your intentions and learning the two fundamental skills every backstage stylist must have. Focuses on career path and pushing you out of your comfort zone.
