The 3rd edition of the International Precision Cutting Championship came to a thrilling end this week with the announcement of the winners in each of the ten countries taking part. The UK champion for 2021 is Ashley Haynes at Rush!

The UK IPCC winner

We totally enjoyed the 2021 edition of the International Precision Cutting Championship. There were 10 countries taking part with hairdressers posting their entires on Instagram so it was easy-peasy to follow the action and play judge at home if we wanted. The @ipcc_uk site hosted entrants in the UK who were challenged to present a particular precision cut on a doll head and submit  three photographs for judging. There were 10 who made it to round two, then whittled down to five for round three. You can remind yourself of them by clicking HERE.  Ashley Haynes produced excellent entries which were judged by more than 50 different hairdressers around the world. A member of the Rush Artistic Team, they were impressed by his work at each stage. See Ashley’s winning presentation below…

Awesome!  Ashely beat off STRONG competition and scoops a fab trophy to display in his salon, plus a haul of prizes including hair tools from Denman, hair products from Keune, a dryer from Diva Pro, education from Andis, and scissors from Yoi Scissors. Very impressive.

If you’re interested, then hop onto the Insta (jump from @ipcc_uk to @ipcc_Vietnam and onto the North America, Russia, Croatia, Serbia, and more). It’s really intriguing.
