Underboss

Pastels Underboss collection 2024

The inspiration for “Underboss” came from creative director Natalie Kasses. A collection of images drawn from their wanderings through the vibrant streets of London where the energy of the city’s bold fashion scene is captivating. This collaboration with hair looks by the Pastels Salon in Dubai focusses on the luxurious feel of furs and feathers, combined with muted hair tones and voluminous styles. They wanted to evoke a sense of warm boujee elegance. Enjoy!

UNDERBOSS COLLECTION 2024

Visually, the team draws on the iconic works of Mario Testino: The goal was to blend classic sophistication with a touch of playful extravagance.

Equally, a second theme of “Power Players”, centred on self-expression and the joy of experimentation. The creative team explored erratic behaviours and unconventional styling, using a variety of textures. Note the handmade jacket, which is made entirely out of wigs. By whipping and winding different elements into the hair, they celebrated the fun and freedom of personal style.
