Renowned hairdresser Richard Ashforth and co-founder of Saco, teamed up with PROVI Academy Shanghai to create the ‘Shape’ collection. Which, won IHA’s Avante Garde Collection of the Year – we can see why. Combing geometrics with artistic flair, each hairstyle is dynamic and visually striking. Richard and the team have really pushed the boundaries. Their ability to manipulate the hair into bold shapes at sharp angles using different techniques is both innovative and inspiring. We love to see some non-traditional hairdressing.
Inspiration
Inspired by the core components of form – Square/Triangular/Round, this collection explores the building blocks of our craft in a none-conventional, conceptual way. Referencing the Bauhaus School codes, collaborators Ashforth, Liu, Goh & Miyazaki brought their personal mantras to these principal ideas, creating a fresh take on Geometry.
