Encourage clients to bring photos of what they love (and what they don’t). Sometimes a client will ask for “balayage” but really mean highlights, the photos clear up any confusion.

 

Use examples of your salon’s work to fine-tune what the client wants. This ensures the result matches their expectations and your expertise.

 

Sit down with clients during consultations. It feels more intimate and relaxed, helping them feel at ease.

 

Clients are more willing to discuss options openly when there’s no pressure. We encourage them to take as much time as they need.
