Get the look: Mikey Madison at the SAG Awards

The epitome of health and radiance. Here’s how stylist Rena Calhoun created Mikey Madison’s sleek look at the SAG (Screen Actors Guild Awards).

“Mikey is keen on keeping her hair healthy,” says Rena. “I started by prepping her with Sisley’s Volumizing Spray to add body to her roots, and The Cream 230 to protect her hair from high heat styling.

“I then blowdried her hair section by section using a Sisley’s boar bristle brush to smooth and create shine.”

Thick and full

Rena adds: “Mikey has gorgeous, thick hair but for a special occasion like an awards show, I like to add a bit of oomph! I chose to work with Remi Cachet (20″ Clip in Deluxe) as they had the perfect shade and a beautiful texture that I felt suited what I needed.

“With a tail comb, I created a U-shaped section starting from directly behind the ears. To secure the clip in place, I backcombed at the root of the U-shaped section and clipped it in.”

Added gloss

“For that added glossy effect, I pumped two pumps of Sisley’s Precious Hair Care Oil into the palms of my hand and very gently ran it through from mid lengths to ends, then tucked both sides behind her ears.

“Finally, for all night hold, I finished the look with Sisley’s Invisible Hold Hairspray Hairspray.”
