The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has a FAME team which matches an amazing mentor with four emerging hairdressing talents. It’s clear from the creative output of this year’s team that mentor Christel Barron-Hough is doing a fabulous job. She is someone we long-associate with great taste and the ability to marry up pop-culture with fashion references through the years. We love this latest release of ‘Counter-Culture.
The collection
What the team says: ‘CounterCulture takes inspiration from Britain’s underground rave scene before commercialisation, when abandoned warehouses and secret locations became spaces for creativity, connection and self expression. The collection captures the raw aesthetic and rebellious spirit of 1990’s rave culture.’
