Unspoken Collection

The Trevor Sorbie Creative Team released the mesmerising Unspoken Collection. Unspoken is created by creative director Giuseppe Stelitano, and team members Tiziana Di Marcelli and Edoardo Colasanti, this is the first collection under the newly formed creative team.

About Unspoken

The collection has elements of all three of the team members involved, which combines Tiziana’s gothic influence, Edoardo’s avant-garde style and Giuseppe’s conceptual vision. The team certainly created something truly unique. The collection also evolves from the previous, brightly coloured ‘Chroma’ collection, still using the elements of bright colours but with added dimensions, texture and combining of darker tones.

The series of eight images is a pure partnership project, combining forces with the photographer (Vadim Yatsun), stylist and costume designer (Yanni Chaplygina) and makeup artist (Sabina Gatej) to create these alternative and striking looks. The clothes were specifically created for the shoot to create something unique and additional mediums have also been used on the hair and clothes, such as reflective paint in gold, blues and purples to push boundaries even further.

Giuseppe Stelitano, creative director at Trevor Sorbie, says: “It’s really exciting for me to lead with colour as the focus for this new collection, especially as a colourist myself. When I approach any new project, colour is naturally my first priority, but it always has to compliment the haircut too. I’m really enjoying this new role as Creative Director as it’s more than just focusing on hair and colour but more about projecting my vision and bringing all different elements together. For this project, I feel that working in partnership with the Clothing Stylist and Photographer brings something unique to the collections that I create.”
