Dee Parker Attwood has pulled it out the bag once again. We are in awe of her talent and modesty as she pays a tribute to legendary hairdressers in her latest collection. Can you name them?
Inspiration
Tribute was a complete love job for me. I started with looking back to a time without the internet. Young hairdressers waited patiently for the journals to arrive in the bookstores or in salons. When I started hairdressing over 25 years ago, I closely watched individuals and hairstylists. I obsessed over them, following their creative journeys. Their skills totally trilled and wowed me.

My photo collection is dedicated to these masters of hair. These are the skills I have been inspired to learn, practising on repeat.
I won’t name the artists to whom I am paying homage too, however you all know their names and aesthetics. I confirm that, I have not copied them or recreated their signature looks. I simply read their stories, know their histories and know the evolution of their careers. In the Postmodern way, I learned to create their signature looks, then reshaped them and reworking it all, making them my own.
The work transgresses across all aspects of hairdressing; hair cutting, editorial and the downright clever.Tribute is a wonderful precious compliment from me to my heroes.
