The Misfits

Explore the most recent Essential Looks collection: The Misfits. Have you heard of the Essential Looks by Schwarzkopf Professional? If you haven’t, Schwarzkopf Professional releases a bi-annual Essential Looks collection presenting new trends. Ideal for stylists and colourists alike, the brand shares key looks to help you get through the season. Every trend in the Essential Looks collections features a ‘Catwalk Look’ and a ‘Salon Look.’

Catwalk Look: Lin Lin

Schwarzkopf Professional global ambassadors Tyler Johnston and Lesley Jennison created a brilliant stop-and-stare look called Lin Lin. Lin Lin, the ‘Catwalk Look’ presents a perfectly executed haircut; from the undercut to the blunt visor fringe, it is beautifully pure.

Lesley, who created the beautiful colour, says: “Placement always wins; colour used sparingly, yet creating maximum impact.” Tyler adds: “it’s the texture that elevates and modernizes the entire aesthetic.”

Salon Look: Giovanna

Giovanna is the ‘Salon Look” created by Tyler and guest artist Grace Dalgleish. This look is ideal for salon inspiration. It’s ultra-wearable yet noteworthy all the same. The Misfits ‘Salon Look’ reinvents the global norms of colour application with the #CoolUpliftedHues Salon Service. This service adds highs, lows and dimensions to create something more interesting and personalised. Remember- clients love a personalised touch!

Grace, who created this beautiful colour, says: “Always approach colour creatively to create something which elevates the norm.” Tyler created the cut and styling and says a “strong fringe with the edges textured and broken elevates the look to a different dimension.”
