Scala by Jose Garcia Peluqueros pays homage to the styles of the late 1960s in Amalfi, Italy. Jose says the modern and daring glamour of the women in this era inspired him, and how! We love how he has brought forward retro styling to blend with modern trends… the trick is having a light touch, nothing too obvious.
More details
The looks in Scala are inteded to highlight beauty, charm and sophistication. We applaud Jose’s use of bold, vibrant colours. He uses rich copper and deep brown shades to remind us of the Italian sun at sunset.
Natural textures and volumes frame the face and accentuate each woman’s personality. The geometric and defined cuts add an avant-garde touch. Jose says this is a nod to that era’s ‘committed and calculating audacity’.
Fresh and youthful half-updos create youthful and feminine looks. Jose says he ensures the looks enhance each woman’s beauty and highlight her unique style.
