O.T.T collection

O.T.T is a playful, beautiful and exuberant collection by Kristie Kesic at Cobelle Creative. The bold colours capture your attention and draw you in. Kristie’s exploration of shapes and colour combinations take you on a journey. The looks are divided into sections, progressing from dark tones to euphoric colours. The overall visual style is over the top with playfulness and beauty.

Kristie describes the inspiration behind O.T.T

Kristie: Shoplifter is a New York-based contemporary artist known for her sculpture artwork, murals and site-specific installations. I was captivated and consumed by her imaginative, mind-expanding works. I discovered that she creates her artwork using natural and synthetic hair. I immediately decided to create a colour collection inspired by her work; how hair is abundantly layered to develop structures and separated into multi-coloured tufts is a force of self-expression. In some parts, it is jagged and erratic; in others, it blurs into ethereal shapes. It highlights how you can use hair as a shield or to show yourself to the world. Shoplifter describes one of her collections as “…one exuberant, colourful, playful, fluffy immersive installation.” She wants to be over the top. Her words captured my imagination, so I created the O.T.T. collection.
