Midnight Blue is a stunning Afro hair collection by Anne Veck. We love that Anne harnessed inspiration from the moon and the night sky when creating her looks. Anne’s collection draws inspiration from traditional styles, yet it is fit for the modern woman. This collection has a mysterious atmosphere.
Inspiration
Anne says: “I love the almost blue colour of a moonlit night sky around a full moon. With this collection I wanted to channel the dark hues of the night sky into a range of looks. The looks take a darker turn yet are glamorous. They express my love for working with Afro hair in all its beauty. I used techniques including plaiting, braiding and bantu knots to translate this inspiration from the traditional to the ultra-modern. This created a range of looks ideal for the woman of today.”
