The 2021 Hot Shots team – winners of the Australian Hair Industry Awards 2021 – have just received their final prize at long last. A greatly anticipated editorial collection shot by renowned photographer Andrew O’Toole.
Having already received some pretty decent prize packs from the likes of Goldwell, ghd, Excellent Edges and Amazing Hair editorial styling kit, there was just one thing left they were all waiting for… An all-expenses paid photoshoot with world class photographer Andrew O’Toole. The team spent a few precious days together again to create sheer beauty in a collection that evolved through the creative process before and during the shoot.
With a fun day of prep at the Goldwell Studios in Melbourne, the team, led by Ali Holmes, Wildlife Sogo, created a stunning mix of colour, length and precision cutting resulting in a collection that could easily grace any high-end fashion magazine in the world!
Following zoom catchups and conversations, when this close-knit team met, they were guided and mentored by Andrew allowing their piece of work to organically take them in a direction of beauty and hair fashion trends.
As part of the Hot Shots’ journey, this experience is truly priceless and something that will be remembered and treasured for many years to come by the team!
