About
Farfalla is a mirage of magical images inspired by the geometry of butterflies and their wings. For the collection, hairdresser Manual Mon has intricately-crafted headpieces using radiant blonde hair, which come alive in each photograph.
As a concept, Farfalla speaks of rebirth and transformation. Just like a butterfly is a chrysalis then evolves to be a beautiful creature. Putting masks over the forehead and face, the shape of the hairpiece hides the model’s features and yet allows her luminescence to shine.
