Explore the Ethereal collection by US-based hairdresser Lindsay Guzman at Elle.B Academy. It’s an other-worldly display of opposites. Each look is delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world.
Inspiration
Lindsay says, the collection signifies wanting to escape the inescapable whilst acknowledging hardships. Each image combines bold and soft, creating a juxtaposition of strong and vulnerable. Therein lies growth and rare beauty.
The Ethereal collection is born from a need to see bold colours and soft shapes. Combining cools and warms without each other taking over. In each look, a soft face frame is supported by the structure above and below, allowing the eyes to see vulnerability and strength. The clothes are brightly coloured yet structured, contrasting the hair. Styling was inspired by elven fashion, paying homage to a world beyond our reach. This mystical collection allows us to dream.Credits
