EP53 – Sam Burnett & Jenny Hands discuss producing a shoot

Aurore Caboche Podcast, The Blog

Sam Burnett and Jenny Hands chat with Nicky Pope and Lauren Stone about the creative concept of producing a shoot, from pre-planning to the big day. They reveal tips on how to build a creative team that understands your vision as well as what shoot days might look like with Covid 19 restrictions in place.

A little bit about our guests…

Sam Burnett began his hairdressing career in a royal-warranted Mayfair salon, where he honed his skills before joining RUSH salons, where he became Artistic Director. At the age of just 23, Sam won the title of Newcomer of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards and was honoured as a member of the 2004 Fellowship F.A.M.E Team. In more recent years Sam has gone on to open his own salon brand Hare & Bone, with locations in both London and Esher, Surrey. When it comes to shooting collections, there is one photographer that Sam has on speed dial; Jenny Hands. As a renowned name in the industry Jenny is the photographer behind numerous British Hairdressing award collections and brand campaigns. Her aesthetic is often described as the universal language of soul and connection and this is most definitely evident in her work with Sam.
