Warming up
Think vivid red, textured layers that will make your daring clients want to go bolder and brighter. Joico’s European Colour Design team member – Paul Watts created a custom blend. Want to know how?
For the roots Paul used Join LumiShine Liquids ½ 4RR + ½ 6CCR + 5 Vol (1,5%) (1:1) then Joico LumiShine Liquids ½ 8RR + ½ 6CCR + 5 Vol (1,5%) (1:1) for the mid lengths and ends.
To lock in this style, Joico Guest Artist – Marcus Giamattei applied Joico Humidity Blocker to give hold and Joico Colorful Glow Beyond Anti-Fade serum was used to instantly increase shine and softness.
Gleaming
The joi of heatlthy hair shines through a Brunette giving the hair a glowing finish. Joico Color Ambassador for Europe, UK and Ireland – Dan Spiller used his ‘Gleaming’ technique to create this beautiful colour. Here’s how he did it… To lift the hair he used Blonde Life Lightening Powder + 5Vol (mixing ration 1 to 1.5). On the roots was LumiShine DD 3NA + 5Vol with LumiShine Liquids 50ml 8AA + 25ml Clear + 5Vol on mid lengths and ends.
Dan then applied a toner to the hair using LumiShine Demi-Liquids 10ml 9NV + 20ml 7SB + 5ml 8NA + 5Vol
Marcus also finished this look by styling with JoiWhip for a boost of body, volume and shine followed by Body Shake for texture and definition.
Blonde hues
It’s no secret that warmed-up blondes are an all time favourite as we move into the colder months. The key to this colour is working with the clients complexion and skin tone to create the perfect hue for them.
To achieve this golden blonde, Paul used VeroLight Lightening Powder + 10Vol followed with followed with 2/3 7N + 1/3 7BA + 10Vol toner.
Marcus then created internal layers with a choppy fringe. He used Joico Blonde Life Brightening Oil through the ends for instant brightness and breakage protection. finished with Joico Hair Shake for glamorous texture to achieve this on-trend look.
