Trend vision 2019

TrendVision 2019 regional finalist

Lauren Wella Professionals

The TrendVision 2019 regional finalists have been announced!

For this year, there’s two international categories – Color Artist of the Year and Creative Artist of the year – and two categories exclusive to the UK and Ireland: Male Grooming and Runway. Show us what you’ve got guys.

TrendVision 2019Photographic entries

To enter competitors were asked to submit an image encompassing their personal vision of what is current and inspiring for their chosen category.

“TrendVision is one of the most respected competitions in the hairdressing calendar and we are incredibly proud  of the passion and enthusiasm of our competitors. This year the standard has been extremely impressive, and the judges had a tough job choosing their finalists. Congratulations to everyone who has reached the next stage and special thanks to all our judges – without them this would not be possible,” said Wella’s Education and Sales Director UK and Ireland, Jerome Toulza.

Photographic winners will now compete at the UK Regional and Ireland Heats, where they’ll be required to create their look live on their chosen model. The winners from that stage will then compete at the UK and Ireland Final on 30 September 2019 at The Roundhouse, Camden, London. The winners of the two international categories (Color Artist of the Year and Creative Artist of the Year) will then go onto the International TrendVision Award event which is set to have a fresh new format for 2019/20.

TrendVision Next stage, new format

The Regional Heats have been aptly called #wellacreativeremix and feature a whole new format for 2109. Each event will have a relaxed, informal and creative vibe, with a model showcase. The UK events will include catwalk shows from HOB Academy Art Team and D&J Ambrose Art Team. The Ireland Heat will include a show from the Wella Professionals Irish Style Council in collaboration with Bruce Masefield. Each Creative Remix event will feature a live DJ set so guests can mingle and be inspired by the array of creative zones.
