How gorgeous is this summer shade collection from Zoe Irwin for Wella Professionals? A harmonise mix of sun-lit blondes and filtered brunettes, there is a shade to dazzle every client. Watch this space for the addition of two new Koleston Perfect shades to the collection in July.

Zoe says…

“I started experimenting with my clients and realised putting warmth on the hairline made eyes pop and look amazing,” said Zoe. “I’m obsessed with colour bringing out people’s natural skin tone and eye colour. I’ve been using this on my client and they love it- they are so ready for it.”

In addition to the collection, Zoe also shares her new Diffused colour technique…

Step 1: Apply your chosen root colour and develop for 10- 20 mins.

Step 2: Graduate your colour 1-2 depths lighter at each stage of your blend from root to the mid length through to ends. Working with the hairs natural lightening variations, e.g. roots 4/0 ,mid lengths 5/0 -6/0 through to the ends 6/0- 7/0. (When mixing your colour mix 1pt colour+ 2pt Welloxon Perfect Pastel Develpoer 1.9%/6vol + WELLAPLEX)

Step 3: In your blending zone, blend your two chosen shades from the root to tip, blending from one into another making sure you work the lighter shade towards the ends of the hair.

Step five: Develop, rinse, apply WELLAPLEX No2 Bond Stabilizer, shampoo and finish with your INVIGO Post Color Treatment.

EXPERT TIP: Look at using 0/00 to dilute/ diffuse your chosen colour palette.
