HERO

We are concerned that students across the board will be both anxious and disadvantaged by the protracted Lockdown restrictions. So any help coming their way gets our vote! Very happy to see this latest initiative from Wella Professionals – a brand who have always been very open with their education and making it as accessible as possible. It’s called HERO.

We love an acronym that is empowering and this is a goodie. HERO for students describes Wella’s online learning platform and stands for Hairdressing Education Resources Online. Simples! Memorable, oh, and FREE. Yep, Wella has teamed up with education masters, MW Education, to deliver an easy to navigate, comprehensive and incredibly useful education platform that is completely free for students and lecturers. Obviously its linked to Wella products and salons, but accessible and brilliant nonetheless. Worth exploring. Simply sign in with an email and you’re off.

HERO has been designed specifically with lecturers and students in mind, providing an engaging and creative platform to share knowledge, with an abundance of resources available to print and download. Regular virtual demos are scheduled, and the site will house all the latest industry news and vital information for students and lecturers, as well as competitions and career advice on all aspects of hairdressing. A bank of handy printable material is readily available, including consultation forms, fact sheets and marketing material. Education resources include topics such as Client Consultation Techniques,  Colouring Techniques, Long Hair Tutorials and Barbering Techniques Coaching.

We are incredibly proud of everything HERO has to offer. It’s exactly what the next generation of hairdressing needs and will be a great support tool for lecturers too. I am confident this will be well utilised, and we are committed to continually developing the site, so just like the rest of the Wella brand, it moves forwards with the growing demands of the industry,” says Wella’s Ruth Salt, National Key Account Technician.
