Get the Vendela look
- This is Vendela before
- Take a profile part then a diagonal back section from the top of the head to the occipital bone.
- Starting at the centre of the forehead, comb the hair slightly forwards and create a face framing graduation
- Slide the Calligraphy pen from the front towards the length at the sides at a low elevation
- Once the connection is made to the perimeter, detail the length at the back by gently edging the ends for softness
- Now release the remaining hair at the top
- Over-direct the hair slightly forwards and complete the graduation
- Using the previous guide at a low elevation
- Repeat the same technique on the opposite side
- Slide the Calligraphy pen from the front towards the length at the sides at a low elevation
- While carving the forward graduation, maintain consistency to the other side to achieve balance within the shape
- Blow-dry the hair with the hands to encourage the hair’s natural movement.
