UNITE’S Guide to Summer Hair Trends

Summer and sun are finally here, so we tapped into celebrity stylists @dafne_evangelista and @m.j.snyder to share five summer hair styles that they’re loving for this season. Here’s how to achieve them using Unite Hair.

Twisted Half Bun – Stylist: Dafne Evangelista, Influencer: Camila Coelho

1. Prep with 7SECONDS BlowOut Creme to achieve the smoothest finish after washing and drying.
2. Next, use SESSION-MAX Spray for the little twists on the bun and the sleek half up, half down, leaving the hair manageable with an extra-strong, long lasting hold.
3. Use SECONDS Day finishing cream on the front braids to keep them sleek and to prevent the hair from loosening.
4. Lastly, spray 7SECONDS Glossing Spray all over to add a gorgeous natural shine to the hair while controlling frizz.

Country Curls – Stylist: MJ Snyder, Influencer: Paige Lorenze

1. Prep with 7SECONDS Detangler to lock in moisture and protect from heat damage. This is a leave-in conditioner spray and it has protein in it, so it’s going to help seal the cuticle.
2. The key to achieving the look is to keep the curls loose at the ends (using the 1” iron), and tight at the mid lengths, starting an inch away from the roots (using your ½” iron)
3. To set the curls, spray Le:Play Hairspray.
4. To finish, spray LIQUID Volume at the root for texture, grit, and instant root lift that will last all day and night.

Modern Up-do – Stylist: MJ Snyder, Influencer: Emma MacDonald

1. Prep hair with 7SECONDS Detangler to lock in moisture and provide heat protection.
2. Next, Spray BOOSTA Volumizing Spray at the root for maximum volume and fullness.
3. After curling the hair, start building texture by using TEXTURIZA Spray to create natural texture and medium hold to style.
4. To finish, sprinkle EXPANDA Dust for added volume and height to help keep your style locked in all day and night.

Sleek Half Up Half Down – Stylist: Dafne Evangelista, Influencer: Olivia Culpo

1. Prep with the anti-humectant 7SECONDS Glossing Spray throughout hair to create the shiniest base before blow drying.
2. Use SESSION-MAX Spray to secure the front sections of the hair to create a slick-back half-up half down and use a mini brush with more spray to get all of the fly-aways out.
3. After blow drying the ends, finish off with U Oil for a natural straight look that is shiny, hydrated, heat protected and frizz-free.

Glossy Soft Curls – Stylist: MJ Snyder, Influencer: Maggie MacDonald

1. Spray 7SECONDS Detangler on dry hair to add moisture, tame frizz, and add UV and heat protection.
2. Apply U:DRY High Volumizing Dry Shampoo at the roots to keep oils in check and add volume and texture. I love that this also adds a little grit to the hair.
3. Set the curls with GO365 Hairspray on the soft setting for a light hold that still allows movement.
4. Finish with SECONDS Day Finishing Cream to slick back the face-framing pieces, and tame frizz and fly-aways.
