We’ve told you once how successful the first Unite Runway Ready UK was, but have you thought about signing up yourself? Unite’s International Creative Director – Gary Baker, is back in the UK this summer to host an intro to Runway Ready. Plus all those who graduated the first course in January are being invited to an advanced course too.
Gary will be at the Lacey’s studio in Reading on 1st & 2nd August teaching the Runway Read Into course, he’ll then be back in the studio on the 4th & 5th August for the advanced course. Runway Ready Advanced is open to anyone who has completed the Intro course, whether you completed two days prior or back in January, the Runway Ready Advanced course is open to you.
So, what is Runway Ready?
A one-of-a-kind, two-day bootcamp focusing on the latest trends in runway styling, creative techniques and tips & tricks that prepare stylists for the beautifully chaotic backstage environment and runway hair.
All attendees who complete the course will have the opportunity to join the Unite team for Fashion Week in New York, London, Paris, and Milan (wherever your budget will take you!)
Gary Baker says “To work backstage at Fashion Week is a dream for many hairdressers but it’s become increasingly hard to access on a normal basis. My idea was to create a ‘Bootcamp’ to provide the experience of what it’s really like to work backstage. It’s a very unique course. For anyone doing this class, you are guaranteed a place on the Unite Fashion Week backstage team, all levels of experience are welcome.”
Gary will be bringing the Runway Ready Intro to Manchester on 7th & 8th August too.
