4 ways to get Coachella hair

Ellie Unite News

One of the music world’s most loved festivals is back IRL after two years – Coachella! Just days away and we are already excited to see celebs and influencers heading to the dessert to set the trend for this year’s festival fashion as they upload snaps to Instagram infront of the famous Ferris wheel – #OOTD.

Forget flower crowns this year Coachella is all about the braids! We’ve hooked up with the Unite team for some serious festival hair inspo.

Baby braids

The face-framing braid not only keeps bangs out of faces but are a simple addition to make hair ‘festival ready’. Chris Georges nourishes strands, control frizz and provide UV protection by prepping the hair with Blonda oil. Add in baby braids, and spray Texturiza spray throughout hair for weightless volume and texture. Lock in the look with the strong-hold, flake-free Max-Control spray.

Space buns

If it an’t broke why change it? Space buns are a classic festival look. Beauty influencer Jamie Mansfield used U:Dry High dry shampoo to refresh and absorb oils while adding volume and texture, Expanda dust to add fullness throughout, and U:Dry Fresh Hydrating dry conditioner to smooth, soften, hydrate and protect her hair from the desert sun.

Box braids

Braids are an obvious desert-friendly hairstyle. Pro stylist Arianna Blean divided the hair into six sections to create thicker-looking braids and finished off with 7Seconds glossing spray.

Rope twist

Put a spin on the classic pony with a gorgeous rope twist. celebrity hairstylist Reagan Link used the cult-favorite 7Seconds detangler to prep, hydrate, and protect the hair from heat and the desert UV rays, and finished off with the extra-strong hold, non-flaking Session Max hairspray to lock in the look.
