Last week we saw the first edition of the new Tribu-te Business Social evening, which took place in the gorgeous Jimmy Choo Academy in Hanover Square London. More than 75 invitees arrived to listen and share conversations about premium customer service and how to deliver in 2024/25. The drinks flowed, the guests joined in enthusiastically and the speakers were declared a triumph. [scroll down to find links to hear their presentations]
The evening was co-hosted between Nicky Pope, UK Publisher for Tribu-te, and Malcolm Lacey, founder of Lacey’s Hair & Beauty. Welcoming the guests, Malcolm paid tribute to the support of the evenings sponsor, Unite haircare brand, who ensured the gorgeous venue and refreshments were fitting for an occasion focussing on premium service!
Guest Line-Up
The line-up of speakers were each asked to share a 10-15 minutes take on what is luxury customer service for today? What do premium clients value and how to attract and keep them. The audience listened, then joined a Q&A. We enjoyed three key presenters:
Craig Cairns
Brand Manager at Lamborghini talking about who buys super cars and how to identify a real customer! Selling cars from £250,000 upwards requires a large degrees of client friendliness. Craig gave a funny, insightful and relevant account of what it takes! Watch his conversation with Nicky Pope HERE
Fiona Lambert
former MD of Jaeger at M&S, previously senior roles at Next, Asda, Dunelm and River Island. Now a motivational author of the new ‘Invincible not Invisible’ book. Fiona talked about what someone in their 60s is focussed on and how we shouldn’t disregarding the 60+ year old woman who has spending power and taste. Watch her presentation HERE
Andrew Dale
CEO Unite Hair sharing how to sell a premium brand whatever the economic climate. Based in USA, Andrew has a unique view on both American and British markets. His presentation included a quick overview of the Unite brand and included Q&A with the guests on current preoccupations. His experience and advice on premium customer service was super-enlightening. - Narad Kutaowaroo and Gary Baker are session stylists and ambassadors for Unite Hair. They joined the evening to present models that confirmed what that expensive, premium hair styling service should look like.
Kudos to Tribu-te and Unite for putting on a fun yet informative evening. If you’d like to host a Business Social with Tribu-te, or be on the guest list for future evenings, email the team HERE: info@ihaa.co.uk
