IY 2018

Inspirational Youth Showcase 2018

Lauren TIGI times

The venue was top-notch, the talent was A-class and the company was, well it was TIGI, so need we say more?

Now in its 14th year, TIGI Inspirational Youth is a mentorship programme taking young hairdressers on a life-changing voyage to develop creativity and talent. To celebrate the work of the 2018 team, 10 members showed us their skills and creativity at an intimate hair show in London’s Café de Paris.

The show was preceded by a presentation from the TIGI Creative Team entitled Artwork, which was the fabulous show TIGI presented at the Alternative Hair Show.

The TIGI Inspirational Youth team each worked on one model they’d pre-coloured using TIGI copyrightcolour.  They then cut and styled their model using TIGI Copyright Create, as well as presenting the images they created for the photo shoot.

The show was compered by key mentors, TIGI European Creative Director, Akos Bodi and TIGI Global Technical Creative Director, Christel Lundqvist. While Warren Boodaghians, TIGI Academy Global Technical Creative Director, presented colour and TIGI European Session Director, Maria Kovacs, presented the image collection.

Here’s some images from the night…
