Queen for a day

Bed Head cult product works its magic backstage

Backstage at fashion week there was a familiar fragrance hanging in the air, as session stylists spritz one of Bed Head’s most iconic, cult products through their models’ hair.

Queen for a dayYou guessed it!

Bed Head Superstar Queen For the Day has long been one of the most coveted products at fashion weeks and, in the weeks preceding the shows, we’re told that session stylists’ agents are  begging the TIGI Team for boxes of the sought-after product.

God save the Queen (for a day)

Superstar to the supermodels, Queen for a Day creates body where no body exists, achieves volume to the flattest hair and gives fine hair massive volume. What’s more, it works perfectly on wet and dry hair. Spray onto roots to add lift, or mid-lengths to add texture. Alternatively, finger dry randomly to create a tousled finish and a loose effect.

Queen for a dayTIGI European Session Director, Maria Kovacs has long been a fan of the product. “Queen for a Day is perfect to use backstage as it has a guaranteed high performance,” she says. “When models are running from one show to the next, their hair often needs all the help it can get and Queen for a Day instantly gives body to flagging hair as well as a light hold. Whatever style I’m creating, I automatically reach for a can to give hair the base it needs. Of course, it’s not just for use on shows and shoots, it works equally well on clients’ hair and is an excellent product to recommend to keep hair looking good between salon visits.”
