We’ve been fans of Anthony Mascolo, TIGI International’s artistic director, for years. We can’t get enough of his artistic flair and love his belief in sharing everything he and his team does as soon as they do it. He says this is the perfect way to ensure progress and come up with new ideas – and we agree! Thanks Anthony.
Anthony began developing the TIGI product range so that he could obtain the desired finishes and shapes for his artistic work. He says: “ The look comes first and then you select the products to enable you to achieve that look and create your desired result. Products are like your scissors; they are the tools to help you achieve your vision for the overall balance of any look.” His original ethos is still vital today and we applaud all the work he has done for the hairdressing industry on so many frontiers.
This week, we’ve stumbled across these images from a recent creative course at the TIGI Academy that encapsulates everything that Anthony believes in. Take a look:
Hair: Akos Bodi, Maria Kovacs and John Harte. Stylist: Jiv D. Photographer: Mauro Carraro.
