There’s a truly wonderful opportunity here…Revlon Professional launches the 2024 edition of its mentoring programme, Visionaries 2024. This exciting opportunity will see four creative stylists enjoy a year-long mentorship programme, directed by Revlon Professional global ambassador, multi-award-winning Mark Leeson.
Mark says “Being a member of Revlon’s Visionaries is one of the most powerful programmes for anyone looking to elevate their skill set, whether it is salon, session or editorial techniques. Alongside creative skills, our previous candidates have benefited from a real boost in confidence.”
What goes on
The programme includes presentation skills, photographic shoots, plus PR and social networking sessions.
Mark adds: “Anyone lucky enough to make it through will see their careers catapulted to the next level.”
Who can apply
The scheme is open to all Revlon Professional salons. There is no upper limit on age, but to be considered, applicants must be a hairdresser and a colourist with a minimum of 4 years hairdressing experience. This includes an NVQ 2 qualification plus two years’ salon experience. Applicants will be asked to provide a before/after of a fashion-forward image showing an ‘on-trend’ haircut enhanced by beautiful colour. This will be done via a digital entry form.

Applications close on Friday 26th January 2024 when 12 finalists will be chosen by a team of judges. The benefits
We hear the Visionaries Team 2023 enjoyed an incredible year of opportunities, which included editorial photoshoots, international stage shows and their very own show at Salon International.
Let’s hear from some of the 2023 Visionaries:
Danny Malone: “It’s a ‘money can’t buy’ experience. You’re going to get to shoot with amazing photographers, meet new friends and get to do things you’d never imagined.”
Ashley Long: “My confidence has grown massively just from being involved and being around such creative people. I’ve learnt so much – even from the other team members.”
Jessie Roux: “This experience has taken my skills and confidence to a whole new level. I’ve met a lot of talented people. I am beyond grateful. I’ve stepped out from my little pond and I’m now swimming with the big fish.”
As if anyone needed any more encouragement to apply, Mark Leeson says: “This opportunity to network, meet people, gain knowledge, and put yourself forward, will get you noticed and let people know who you are and what you’re about. One day you’ll be inspiring the next generation of hopefuls yourself.”
