The Original gets an upgrade

We all know and love the ghd original styler. What a game changer it was when it was first launched in 2001, creating straight-hair addicts all over the country. Having updated and tweaked their stylers here and there over the years, the original styler has always hit the ‘good hair day’ mark. But there’s always room for improvement right?

Which is why ghd have just announced their new and enhanced ghd Original Styler which features clever single-zone technology, new-gen heaters and ceramic plates with gloss coating. In short, it’s basically been given a 21st century upgrade and, given how popular it’s been since its launch, this improved version will no doubt be a hit too. “ghd original is the perfect tool for those starting out on their ghd journey and wanting to create beautiful, simple styles with shine and smoothness,” explains Igor Rago, ghd Italy Art Director.

The styler doesn’t use any extreme heat, with the optimum styling temperature staying at 185 Degrees Celsius. The gloss-coated ceramic plates help to leave hair looking sleek, shiny and oh-so smooth. Reinventing a classic to suit today’s needs? Ghd, we like your style(r).
