Take any stunning salon and the chances are Takara Belmont has had a hand in kitting out its interior, whether it be at the backwash or one of the brands plush barber chairs. Yet what you might not know is that as well as revolutionising salon furniture TB is also on a mission innovate hair care too. Want to know what we’re talking about? Check out the brand’s Hair Lab at this year’s Salon International event.
“The Hair Lab is a new scientific zone that symbolises the company’s application of technology to hair care equipment,” Katie Wrighton, National Sales Manager at Takara Belmont. “Technology continues to transform our chairs, backwash equipment and shampoo systems into multi-functional experiences, but we’ve innovated in the field of hair care too. Most notably, our RollerBall F, Spa Mist II processors and the Yume Series have revolutionised colour, treatment and chemical services and outcomes, as well as boosting revenues for salons.” Definitely worth a look we say.
Calling all barbers
In addition renowned barbershop owner and educator Mike Taylor, Francisco’s Hair Salon and Gio The New Kid will be among those presenting live barber demonstrations over the weekend event. “As well as showcasing our products and services, we will also have a range of exclusive show offers and a VIP competition where one lucky winner will win a Hot Cabi towel warmer or a D-Stool each day.” adds Katie.
