Step by Step: Two Tone Bonds

Great Lengths have given us the low-down on how to apply the gorgeous new Two Tone Bonds. Watch how this step by step not only adds length to the model’s hair, but also enhances her colour by using the Two Tone range.

1.Prepare your clients hair using Great Lengths Clean Remover shampoo to remove any excess oils. Avoid conditioning as this can create a barrier in the hair.

2. Take the tail comb and divide the first natural-hair strands into a section with the same width as the bond and about 1 cm in depth. This means that the customer’s natural hair and the GL real-hair strands are in the correct ratio.

3. Position the round plastic shield and fix it in place with two clips. Take the strands and place them under the customer’s natural hair strands. Observe the application distance of 1.5cm between the scalp and the bond.

4. Activated the bond using the Great Lengths Ultrasonic Touch machine, fold in the right side of the bond backwards, then the left side of the bond, and press it firmly together with your fingers. Continue until achieved 4-5 rows throughout the hair

5. Cut the extensions to create a seamless blend between the client’s natural hair and extensions, removing the weight from the ends for a more natural finish.
6. Style and finish with Great Lengths Soft Finish Spray.
