As part of its role as Official Hair Partner for the BAFTA TV Awards, Schwarzkopf Professional was delighted to style the 2024 BAFTA Breakthrough UK Cohort during their announcement photoshoot, which celebrates the ‘must-watch’ creatives working in film, games and television, from across the country.
This collaboration forms part of Schwarzkopf Professional’s “Partners in Craft” initiative, which strives to provide exceptional opportunities for the Schwarzkopf Pro community, to showcase their skills and creativity in exciting environments outside of the salon.
Over the course of two days, Schwarzkopf Professional Ambassador Philipp Haug (@philipp_haug_london), was joined by Seckington’s Senior Art Director, Chantelle Jones (@chantipockethair), to create both beautiful and authentic hair looks for the 21 members of the UK cohort. The pair ensured the cohort looked and felt fantastic during the photoshoot, ahead of the announcement of their brilliant achievements.
BAFTA Breakthrough is the arts charity’s flagship talent initiative supported by Netflix, providing a springboard to creatives spanning craft specialisms from costume design, production, casting, editing and games design, to performance, directing, composing and cinematography.

Working alongside fashion stylists and makeup teams, Philipp and Chantelle used the OSiS range from Schwarzkopf Professional, to create the camera-ready looks seen across the entire UK shoot.
When discussing her experience of the two days, Chantelle said: “Working alongside BAFTA for the 2024 Breakthrough announcement was truly a dream come true. Having the opportunity to collaborate with such a talented team and to work and learn under the guidance of Philipp Haug was a fantastic experience. Most importantly, I loved helping the entire UK cohort feel both confident and beautiful prior to their shoot – with help from Schwarzkopf Professional’s fabulous OSiS range of course! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
