Runway Ready team do LFW

UNITE’s Runway Ready graduates just smashed their first London Fashion Week. The team worked incredibly hard  and styled the hair for three shows: Edwards Crutchley, Oh Polly and Ingrid Kraftchenko. Three very different designers, with very different vibes allowing the team to work on a good variety of briefs.

The Team

Alan McKechnie – Rutherfords Hair
Amy Leahy – Ciente Hair
Chloe Cruse – Studio One
Ellen Turner – Copper Hair Design
Emma Hunt – Glow
Giuseppe Manco – Giuseppe Manco
Hasan Uzun – Inanch London
Inanch Emir – Inanch London
Jack Spencer – House Hairdressing
Jenna Kidd – Verelle
Lea Martin – Rural Fringe Hair Saon
Leanne Chester – Brendan O sullivan
Lucy Allgood – LH studio
Mary Cinque  – Studio 5
Max Centini – Centini Hair
Sophie Dolman – Verelle

Edward Crutchley

Narad Kutowaroo was the lead hair artist for Edward Crutchley’s runway show alongside his assistant UJ. The theme was diversity and we can see that togetherness was celebrated amongst each look. This collection caught some serious attention as it featured in both The Times and Vogue Runway. That’s a pretty awesome achievement for Narad and the Runway Ready team.

Oh Polly

Mixing things up with a major fashion label for the second show. Brendan O’Sullivan was the lead hair artist for the Oh Polly runway show and worked with assistant Charlotte Kerr. Beach waves or slicked back were the looks for this collection.

Ingrid Kraftchenko

And back with Narad for their third and final show for a Ingrid Kraftchenk’s JUBILEE collection. This time the team were tasked with creating punk looks. The experimental campaign film and presentation stars Ingrid’s band of contemporary femme queer rebels in London.
