Revlon Visionaries get set for their best year yet

Earlier this year Revlon Professional presented an amazing opportunity for young, creative stylists to become a member of the Revlon Professional Visionaries 2022. The year-long mentorship programme is directed by Revlon’s Global Ambassador – the multi-award winning Mark Leeson. Mark has taken four budding hair artists under his wing. With opportunities ranging from photo shoots to stage work, colour and cutting courses and social media workshops, this really is a fast-track route to a stellar hair career.

As the four fabulous Visionaries kick off their year long journey, we decided to find out a bit more about them:

Amy Wright @hairbyamyx

“Colour work is my passion and I like to put my own stamp on things and spice things up. I have been working at Anthony Laban for 4 years from apprentice stylist and have been qualified for nearly 3 years. I am excited to be part of the Visionaries Project experience as I can’t wait to learn new things and for everyone to teach each other as well. Adding a little bit of your own sparkle is always fun!”

Olivia Bain @oliviabainhair

“I’m Liv and I was part of the Visionaries two years ago which was put on hold due to Covid. Hairdressing has always been my passion and to be given an opportunity to grow as a creative individual is something spectacular. Nature keeps me inspired, I just adore the wonderful colours and beautiful shapes it creates; my camera roll is filled with sunrises and sunsets.”

Adele Plowman @adele_beuniquestudio

“I’m a salon owner from Hull with two children and hairdressing is my greatest passion. I love making people feel great about themselves. I’m super excited to be part of the Visionaries Project team – as we all know, I LOVE REVLON!”

Shelby Barroclough @hairbyshelby_petermarsh

“I love being part of the Visionaries Team because everyone has different skills and views. It’s been fun to get to know each other and I look forward to learning new skills and more about the industry. I love doing any technical colour, especially fashion colours – the brighter the better! I’ve enjoyed exploring more cutting too. It’s completely out of my comfort zone but it’s been so fun to learn!”
