Protect against pollution with new Magn±t

Lauren Revlon: read all about it

Did you know skin cells regenerate constantly but hair shafts don’t? That’s right, we need to protect them from pollution and external aggressors to maintain their condition, especially coloured hair, which can lose its vibrancy, chromacity and shine if not looked after. With this in mind Revlon Professional has created a comprehensive range to answer the growing concern of pollution and its effect on hair.

Cutting edge technology

Revlon Professional introduces Magn±t, its new and innovative line in the fight against pollution and its effects on hair. Here’s how it works:

The metals already present in polluted hair interact badly with the hydrogen peroxide needed in colouring and lightening services, generating free radicals that break the keratin bonds, making the final result unpredictable, unreliable and toned down. After years of research, Revlon Professional’s scientific team has determined how to prevent the damaging effect of pollution. The Pollupl±x System is an advanced combination of chelating agents, antioxidants, keratin reinforcers and shield ingredients, so that each product in the range has its role: neutralizing and repelling pollutants particles on hair, reducing the negative effects of poor water quality, reinforcing hair fibre and creating a shield to reveal the best colour result while protecting the strands.

In-salon and at-home

The Magn±t range is divided in two. The first three products – Anti-Pollution Neutralizer, Color Lock Repairing Shampoo and Anti-Pollution Daily Shield – are to be used during the colouring process in the salon. Following this, clients can take home three care products to maintain their colour and protect it. These include the Anti-Pollution Micellar Cleanser, Anti-Pollution Restoring Mask and Anti-Pollution Daily Shield.
