Phorest Summit 2027 heads to Killarney

New location, new name and a first look at the speaker line-up – Phorest Summit 2027 is taking shape.

Formerly known as the Salon Owner’s Summit, the event is moving outside Dublin for the first time in its history, heading to the Gleneagle Arena in Killarney, Ireland, on 24–25 January 2027. And if two days away from the salon surrounded by Kerry’s lakes and mountains sounds appealing, you’ll want this one in the diary.

Going Beyond

The theme for 2027 is Beyond: What the Future Holds in Our Industry, with the programme set to explore how hair, beauty and medi-aesthetic businesses can respond to change, embrace emerging technology – including AI – and still protect the human relationships at the heart of the industry.

The first three speakers have now been revealed:

  • Jon Petz, a Hall of Fame keynote speaker, magician and mentalist who describes himself as an ‘Amazement Artist’, will explore performance, presence and those small moments that can turn a client appointment into something memorable.
  •  Stefanie Sword-Williams, founder of F*ck Being Humble, TEDx speaker and two-time author. Her session will focus on helping owners and their teams communicate their value and confidently talk about their work.
  • Elfried Samba, former Global Head of Social Content and Community at Gymshark. During his seven years with the company, its social community grew from one million to 20 million as the brand passed a £1 billion valuation. Now founder of creative house Butterly 3ffect, Elfried will share his thinking around building a brand without a big media budget.

More than a conference

“Owners spend the year solving problems for everyone else,” says Ronan Perceval, founder and CEO of Phorest. “Two days in Killarney gives them the room, and the people, to work on their own business.”

Alongside the speaker programme, attendees can expect two evenings of music, food and entertainment, plus a first hands-on look at new Phorest AI tools and product releases ahead of general availability.

More than 750 owners, managers and industry professionals are expected to attend, with further speakers set to be announced over the coming months.

Early bird pricing ends on 30 September 2026, with tickets available for both days of the Summit.
