Neville Hair & Beauty does PFW with Philip Martin’s

Some may call it the city of love, but we call it the city of style. Last week Parisians were going crazy for SS22 Paris Fashion Week and who better to sponsor Celia Kritharioti‘s haute couture show than the highly established haircare brand – Philip Martin’s.

The team was made up of elite session stylists from across Europe, but leading the team was London based hair stylist and Creative Director for Neville Hair & Beauty – Jack Merrick-Thirlway.

“We prepped the hair using Philip Martins Babassu Spray – mainly around the hairlines to enable us to blowdry the hair back – leaving us with a really smooth, clean, perfect direction on the hair. We then used a tiny bit of Shine Rose Serum on our fingers to give moisture for braiding; leaving a glossy, beautiful finish. On an off-centre zig-zag parting, we braided both sides of the hair back to finish an inch above the  nape and used elastics to tie both braids together.

With the length I used Philip Martin’s Natural Mousse to give us a controlled, silky pony in order to spin up into a high shine chignon. Finishing off the look with a spritz of the Air hairspray,” says Jack.

Working alongside some familiar faces, Jack had a couple of colleagues from the salon working with him on the show. Senior stylist, Afroditi Koutsouki and Philip Martins Global Ambassador, Domenico Cassella were amongst the hair styling team.
