OSMO IKON Perma Wave

Following customer demand, OSMO has launched its new extra body, acid wave perm, OSMO IKON Perma Wave.

Create defined volume, texture, and body with the new OSMO IKON Extra Body Acid Wave Perm. This vegan friendly formula combines natural processing with intense conditioning agents to help replenish the hair for healthy looking shine, greater styling control, consistently predictable results, and great curls, without the need of dryer heat.

The OSMO Perma Wave kit includes waving lotion, neutraliser, and activator and is suitable for normal/fine or tinted hair.

OSMO Educator, Terry Longdon shares his knowledge on the new OSMO IKON Perma Wave. “With the increase of big bouncy blow-outs – think Mob Wife and TikTok trends – more clients are looking to get that added body into their hair permanently,” he says. We’re not talking 80s tight curls here, but enabling your clients to have a good foundation for longer lasting blow-dries.”

Wave hello

“The new perm is an unbelievable soft and gentle demi-wave effect. It’s ideal for introducing a soft texture into a client’s lacklustre hair that may need a stronger foundation for those full-bodied blowouts we’re seeing more of in the salon. Don’t be afraid to suggest a perm to your male clientele too – it’s great to give their hair more body and lift too.  Remember, it’s all about the size of the perm rods you use to get the desired curl result. For the perfect result, ensure you develop for the full 35-minutes but ensure you’re allocating a 10-minute curl pattern check throughout.  Also, drop the curl rod down a size or two if a definite curl is required.”
