We were thrilled to tune into the Stronger Together live broadcast from L’Oréal Professionnel earlier this week. A meld of TV and radio magazine format, the 1.5 hour show delivered a just-right mix of interviews, hair, fashion and chat. Hosted by radio DJ and singer Mollie King, we knew from the off this was easy viewing!
Stronger Together live broadcast
Promo invitations set the expectation for significant moments and conversations. They heralded a programme beautifully put together. We loved it, and our overall highlight was a specially commissioned film of Fabio Piras (Central Saint Martins MA Fashion Course Director) & Gareth Pugh (Fashion Designer). The relationship between L’Oréal and emerging fashion design is long and holds fast. Great to see it will continue through whatever Covid throws at us!
Such enduring passion for fashion was explored further in a convo between Luke Pluckrose (SAKS) & Nikki Wolff (celebrity make-up artist) – talking over their long-standing collaborations and how they feed their creative souls.
Keeping it real, Millie Kendal MBE (British Beauty Council) & Stewart Roberts (Haircuts for Homeless) brought us back to the reality of working in difficult times, giving back to the community, and the need to pull together as a whole hair and beauty industry combined.
Bravo to Monica Teodoro, recently announced as the first ever General Manager Education and Professional Development L’Oréal Professional Products Division UK & Ireland. We’ve watched her for years, steering the brand forward and growing the integrity and strength of L’Oreal PPD in the UK to support salons, freelancers and trainees at all levels. Stronger Together is a mantra she truly represents and we’re loving the expression of this in live online events!
